WVU has nor right to complain about this
1. they knew what the deal was when they joined the conference
and more importantly
2.

WVU has their own 80 million dollar 12 year 3rd tier rights that they were able to sign based on the same factors that allow UT to have the LHN
80 / 12 = 6.67 million per year or over 1/3 of what the ACC gets for all 3 of their tiers combined
If OU, KU, UT, OkState and WVU all wanted to vote to change the Big 12 deal and scrap their 3rd their deals that all average over 6 million per year each and instead share some of that money with Baylor, KSU, Texas Tech, ISU and TCU well that is 50% of the votes right there and I am sure that OU, KU, UT, OkState and WVU would have no problem convincing at least one of those other 5 schools that have deals in the 3 million dollar per range down to zero to vote to take some of that 3rd tier money
but then again WVU has strong leadership (with the exception of screwing up what was a 110 million dollar third tier deal) and they knew they would be able to get 1/3 of the money that the ACC gets for all 3 tiers of TV with just their 3rd tier deal and then when they started to get a full share of Big 12 1st and 2nd tier money (that is larger than the ACC money for all 3 tiers) and then when they get a share of the 40 million dollars for the Sugar Bowl deal (4 million per team for each Big 12 team) VS the 27.5 million the ACC gets for the Orange Bowl (divided by 14) or 1.9643 per team and when WVU gets their 1/10th of the 50 million in play off money (5 million per Big 12 team) VS the ACC getting 50/14 = 3.5714 I think that WVU fans should be able to handle not seeing one basketball or two per year
or they could give up all that money and join another conference or again vote to share 3rd tier money and form a league network
