RE: B1G vs ACC
It to me seems as though as soon as our Big Ten board membership picked up a little that it started, like we are growing a little bit and our fan group starts in the hotspot (News and Realignment) and doesn't really have a super active board to avoid going elsewhere, and not to say I haven't poked fun at any ACC fans (I like to have fun with 'Cuse fans) cause I have my disagreements and arguments. I feel there is a lack of respect for the Big Ten on these boards and I feel it is well undeserved unless you're an SEC or PAC12 fan. Also there seems to be a difference between the way they will treat me vs say H1 and Seablue, and they seem to villianize them for disagreeing and making an opposing argument. I feel sorry for Maryland fans who are now in limbo but am glad I'm seeing a spike of their posters coming over here.

What can I do to squash the perception of this being an ACC Centric board? Not going to say there isn't a ton of ACC fans between the ACC board and CR/Main Board, just that board in general doesn't have a single ACC mod. I take that perception seriously because you're not the first person to make that claim.
It isn't anything to do with moderation staff. I am just talking about the population in general. The numbers of posters. That makes it ACC Centric, not any policy of the site or staff.

I'm actually at a loss for words. Mods that want to help? I'm not familiar with that concept.

Are the CR and Main Board two different things, or are you saying CR is this site's Main Board?

RE: B1G vs ACC
Dexter,
With all due respect, that thought process has been a lash back due to the criticism that the Big East has gotten over the years. The Big East got dogged after it lost Miami, VT, and BC left. Nobody can debate the history, prestige, and fan bases of the B10. In that regard plus the money the league makes it's obviously the best league out, outside of the B10. But when it came to performance on the field, the perception was that the B10 wasn't up to snub, due to the constant bowl/BCS bowl losses ect. With the Big East getting it's constant attacks, of course the fan bases was going to call out the B10, the same way the MWC fans was constantly on our backs. Some people still have the hard feelings of disrespect from way back when. Then you add the Pitt-PSU rivalry into the fray (Pitt fans). So naturally there is going to be some hate and so on, plus you see how schools like a Ohio State get a slap on the wrist from the NCAA for countless violations. I couldn't tell you why the old ACC fans may hate/disrespect the B10. I'm just providing a Pitt/Big East perspective, even though I don't speak for all Pitt/Big East fans.
H1,
That makes sense. For whatever reason I took defense to the thought that overall this was considered a ACC centric board. I'd argue that the CUSA and AAC boards are far more active than the ACC Board.
SeaBlue
I was referring to the Conference Realignment & College General Board, which I would consider the main board because it's the most active and what has attracted the B10 and SEC fans to this network in the first place. It's where fans from all over the network has congregated to talk about general issues around CFB like D4 split and realignment and ext.
