NCAA recruiting just got more interesting.....
I have no words to describe the stupidity of this but I'm actually excited to see this play out......

How is this any different than the NCAA specifying Instagram and Twitter as communication tools?

Snap chat has historically served much different purposes than twitter and Instagram. Not sure how twitter and snap chat are even comparable.
