Earl Boykins freshman year: 12.5 ppg on 41% shooting (34% 3pt) in 32.5 minutes
Raven Lee freshman year thus far: 10.3 ppg on 38% shooting (35.5% 3pt) in 21.7 minutes

Ray is averaging more points per 32 than Boykins did his freshman year. The kid can score. If he starts playing within himself and lets the game come to him, he can be a VERY high scoring guard. He has the tools. Whether he builds upon them or not is up to him.
Lee and Boykins in the same sentence? How about we compare their basketball IQ's too. They're not even in the same stratosphere.

I cannot even imagine how much Boykins would dominate today's mediocre MAC.

PS Can we get Lorenzo Neely in the EMU HOF please?! What a joke.

Clearly you didn't read the entire thing.

I started the thread for this week's MAC men's hoops:

http://csnbbs.com/thread-676459.html

I asked the same proverbial question I asked here and Axeme, a very knowledgeable MAC hoops follower, provides his answer (about where have all the MAC NBA draftees gone):

"The MVC, the A-10, and WCC. "

This doesn't explain the why.
