Somebody has to find the negative in a win...
This quote stood out to me:
"We kept staying with the game plan. We did not relax," Pastner said. "We just said: `Hey, this is what we are doing, and if they beat us, they're going to beat us with 2s."
Obviously, it worked out tonight. It makes sense against such a good 3 point shooting team.
I think sometimes he has this same mindset and it costs us. I'd rather have a coach that is more flexible. I can hear it now, "Hey, this is what we are doing, and if they beat us, they're going to beat us with 4 guards in."

RE: Somebody has to find the negative in a win...
It's not a negative. First of all, before the game was even over we had a couple of posters suggest that Josh doesn't have control over his players, well that's debunked since his players obviously listened to him by defended the 3 at all cost. Second, one of any teams purpose in a game is to take away another teams strength, the 3 is the Zags strength and the Tigers took that away. Third, another teams purpose in a game is to take advantage of a teams weakness, rebounding is one of the Zags weaknesses and Tigers took care of that especially in the 2nd half. Adjustments was made in other areas, like increasing the defensive pressure and the Tigers win. Good job Coach Pastner!

Our defensive intensity was poor for much of the game...

Our defensive intensity was off the charts in the key stretch of the second half.

The Zags didn't score in the last 3+ minutes of the game. Wouldn't our defense have a big part in that?

Sure, but we didn't do it the entire game so who gives a f?
Playing your best defense and best basketball in crunch time when you are down by double digits is meaningless.

If anyone wanted to go negative all they would have to do is mention our shooting tonight. Do you look for a reason to attack posters?

1. The team we beat isn't in a major conference.
2. So what if they have a top-25 RPI, they don't pass the eye test.
3. NCAA tournament 15 years in a row, but still no championships.
What else am I missing?
4. Oh yeah, if we beat them they can't be very good.
5. Didn't Adam Morrison go to Gonzaga? Eew!

On a night where shots were clanging off the iron, our team clawed and scrapped their way to a hard-fought W in the final minutes when it appeared all was lost...hard to find any negatives in this outcome.

Zags are too white for this to be considered a good win.

There were a lot of negatives about the Tigers last night. Really poor inside defense, poor shooting all around, injuries, unsportmanlike laziness, silly fouls, and some coaching issues. But the Gonzaga Poodles had one more negative than we did. Losing 17-2 in the last 5 minutes. Tigers played great defense for those last 7-10 minutes and beat a top 25 team for, at least, the THIRD time this season.

The TIGERS win last night truly has frustrated the haters.
I love it.
18-5.
Another top 25 win for MEMPHIS and Pastner.
On to UCF.

So now a coach wanting ti impose his team's will is making a mistake.
Used to be how dare Pastner let the other team dictate.
Now it is trying to dictate means not making adjustments.
Heaping helping of phail.
