Can the American get 5 tourney bids?
Most folks had not counted on SMU playing like this. UConn may be the team in trouble.

Lot of games left to be played.

Right now, there are 5 that are a lock. As long as one team doesn't collapse, we should have 5 in. UConn would be the closest to the fringe, but they are probably still 7-10 spots above the bubble.

Definitely gonna get 5 in unless there's an epic collapse by one of them.

UConn will get in. The American will have 5 teams this season.

I remember me and MC having a discussion about this earlier this season. He said they were a year away I said they were good and would get in.

They have some good wins. Memphis, Cincy, UConn. With quite a few more to go.

Would be great to win the tourney. That many quality teams and we win the conference tourney and we have a really nice seed.
