RE: Wrestling NIU
From Ohio.com: A photo on the gay website Outrage captured Wheeler’s tweets, which included, “I can’t even watch Sports Center today cause all they are talking about is Marcus Smart or that [gay slur] from Mizzou…” The photo showed Wheeler’s last tweet, “O geez I got all these [slur] boys mad at me now.”

Looks like he is getting an object lesson in freedom of speech: yes, you are free to say what you think, but you don't get to say it in a vacuum. You have to deal with the consequences of your speech. Too many people think freedom of speech means you are free from responses to your speech.

Freedom of speech pertains to not going to JAIL for what you say.

It is his right to post whatever he wants on his social media platforms. But it is KSU's right to suspend him for anything he says there.

RE: Wrestling NIU
I've grown weary of the Sam Wheeler talk so let's get back to wrestling!

http://kentstateuniversitywrestling.blog...thern.html

Burden, take a look at the end of Hill's entry where he talks about criteria. "The Northern Iowa match came down to the second to last criteria (total match points.) The interesting thing is very last criteria is the first takedown of the match to decide the winner, which was by Mack McGuire at 133lbs who took down the #1 guy in the country Joe Colon in the 1st period."

Imagine if we tied at points and ended up winning the dual because Mack had the first TD in a match where he lost by tech fall. I imagine that would have made your head explode! 05-stirthepot

Yes it would have. I can't believe anybody would be excited about winning that wAy either. If they don't want to add more wrestling to break the tie leave it tied.
