Very well said.

SMU cracks the AP poll this week at #23.

The AAC has five teams in this week's AP Top 25 - only on of which (Louisville) is leaving the conference.

The Big 10 has got to be really geeked up for some Rutgers basketball. Next year's Rutgers-Nebraska game will surely be must-see-TV.

Have they ever been on the court together this year?

Only in warmups in the games I have seen (which is almost every home game).

The stat sheet is rich on riceowls.com. Apparently, Rice hasn't played any non-conference games this year.

I went there to see if the averages suggested they had to overlap - unfortunately, no, it appears quite possible. In the 10 conference matchups, Drone averages 10.4 and Obi 28.1. There are apparently at least 5 minutes with neither of them out there (probably end of half situations).

I still don't get how Rutgers made it over unconn, guess they were holding out for the acc.

Maybe Governor Christie's staff threatened to conduct a massive "traffic study" from State College to Minneapolis if the State University of New Jersey was left out of Big 10 expansion.

Rutgers made it into the fka Big 10 because they are the NYC tv market. That is the rational at least; I had no idea NYC residents followed any Rutgers sports.

Did you let them know of the issue?
