RE: FAU
Over the past ten games, UAB is 5-5, losing to MTSU (119), UTEP (92), North Texas (204), East Carolina (242), and FIU (255). UAB's highest Pomeroy ranking was after beating Nebraska - 75. Its worst ranking is right now - 155.

FAU is also 5-5 over the past ten games, losing to LaTech (49), ODU (179), FIU (255), Charlotte (149), and MTSU (119). FAU's highest Pomeroy ranking was 198, right after upsetting Harvard. Their worst ranking was 281 back in November.

I hate to say it, but these are two basketball teams headed in different directions, even though UAB has a better ranking right now.

Pomeroy has both teams finishing conference play at 7-9.

RE: FAU
A little information on FAU's home upset of Harvard on January 21st, 68-53.

Harvard came into the road game with a record of 14-3. They are now 18-3 and 5-0 in the Ivy League. Their three losses have all been on the road - Colorado (62), UConn (29), and FAU (206). They lost at Colorado by 8 points, at UConn by 5, and then lost at FAU by an unexplainable 15 points.

FAU scored the first 8 points of the game and pushed it to 20-5 with less than 10 minutes left in the first half. FAU led at halftime 29-20.

With 14 minutes left in the game, FAU had pushed the lead up to 17 points. With just over 5 minutes left, Harvard got within 5 points, at 48-43, but FAU immediately responded with a 3-pointer. That sounds familiar. FAU actually scored 20 points during the last 5 minutes and 15 seconds, or so, of the game.

FAU's Marquan Botley (5-10 160) was 6-8 from downtown and led the way with 23 points. Pablo Bertone (6-4 198) chipped in 17 points. Both Justin Raffington (6-9 245) and Kelvin Penn (6-6 233) grabbed 9 rebounds.

How many players does UAB have with 30+ 3-pointers this season?

ONE!

Chad Frazier 41-112 36.6%.
