The thing to realize about EMU is that we have played 7 of (our) 9 games to date vs. MAC East teams.

Today is our last crossover game.

We are 2 - 0 vs. the MAC West (WMU and CMU). Good days ahead. :)

Our difficult games are Toledo (2) and @WMU.

I predict same old same old lead big for 36-37 then collapse missed free throws, dumb fouls, drive to the basket guard against their big guys get stuff get pissed off make stupid foul. Oh and run 30 second off the when behind!

Sure it is! Unless you've learned not to make the same mistakes and that isn't happening!

I gotta agree with Superfan on this. Until EMU figures out how to put a team away they will struggle at crunch time.

With the exception of Miami our losses have been to very good teams like Akron (2) and Ohio. (UB was UB, on the road.)

Sure I really, really wanted to beat Ohio and Akron but I'm not going to jump off of a bridge because we lost to teams of their caliber. I'm certainly not going to jump because we lost to AKRON on the ROAD.

Last year we got hammered by those teams.

Sadly agree. At least in the Akron game. Miami had a good second half.

Pretty good start. Kent looks lost against the zone, turning it over like crazy. This team definitely isn't as good as Kent teams from the past few years.
