Probably going to get a 18" Dell tablet. It's pretty sweet.

I have the original iPad. Works for me.

IPad mini I hardly use.

I've got the touch but am considering getting the type to do more serious work.

I've had a surface pro as a long term loaner. If I was going to try and travel with just a tablet this would be the one.

I have an iPad, I'm on my second one. Like it, use it mostly for media consumption. Reading on the plane, video on the plane, surfing the web on the couch. I can use my citrix desktop and work on it if I need to.

My wife had a Nexus 7, and now has an iPad mini. She likes the mini better, mostly because there are more educational apps for the kids.

Kindle Fire HD. I like it. App selection isn't as good as Apple's or typical droid, but it's fine for what I want/need.

Here's the Dell 18" tablet.

Ipad mini and a Lenovo ? model. The Ipad is OK but no where near worth the money. Not even close. The Lenovo is for my daughter but I have used it a bit and it is great especially considering how little it cost. I had a Kindle Fire but it died. Horrible design. The usb charge port was very poorly designed and constructed. Once I started experiencing problems I Googled and discovered many others had am expensive paperweight. I thought about the Fire HD but some research indicates some owners are starting to experience the same problem with the charge port. Right or wrong it was enough to scare me away.

I have an iPad 2 and love it. I'd also say that Samsung and others have some a long way with Android tablets. Definitely more competitive.

I've got nothing against Android-based tabs, just have Apple and don't relish rebuying things.

I have the first edition Nook color; it was cool when I first got it, because that was when touch screen was taking off. But it is really slow for downloads, and internet surfing. Just use it for reading now.
My teen girls each have Samsung 10.1 Galaxy tabs, that they can use at school for things. They got wireless keyboards for Christmas, and have a small "laptop" for school. 16G with 16G miro SD added, gives them enough memory.

I am trying to decide between Galaxy 4S or Note as my next phone; I do not use my computer at work for ANY personal stuff. The Note is bigger (better for the old lady eyes), but I really like the way the 4S works. But I do a lot of emails and stuff on my old phone, so need something durable.

Anyone have one or the other?

Get the samsung galaxy mega since you have a purse...perfect blend of tablet and phone...6.3 inch display.

I have the Note 3. Switched after having 3 iPhones and would never go back. It's big but we'll worth it. I do tons of work on it. The s pen is nice and very useful for taking notes in meetings. Battery life is awesome.

I'd recommend watching a few YouTube videos on what it can do.
