Nice video showing some highlights of this past season. Like the music too. I liked seeing "B1G" at the end but I'm not going to lie…it is a little strange seeing Rose Bowl up there. Overall, it was pretty awesome.

I liked the shot from Lucas Oil Stadium. I hope we get to keep the championship game for a while.

I still think at some point the game has to go to Soldier Field once in a while and I think it would be beyond awesome to have it once at Lambeau for the pure history of it. You could do it in East Rutherford as a one off too just for showcasing the brand to the Greater NY Metro.

So it looks like the championship game is in Indy for the next two years (2014 & 2015). The next site hasn't been selected yet has it? It seems like a decision will have to be made in the near future if it hasn't yet.

If the game is to continue to be played at night I think it needs to be under a roof. And there are not many options, especially since Detroit, at night, doesn't appeal to me much.

I gotta agree. For me, going to Detroit doesn't have a lot of appeal. Chicago would be pretty cool, as would New York. But after thinking about it briefly, I think it is Indy's to lose. It is centrally located, domed for weather and evening TV showing. How has the attendance been?

Just guessing, but something like 50K, 30K, 62K+. 2nd year was quite bad, and 30K is probably rather generous. Wisconsin was travel weary (on their way to making their 3rd straight Rose Bowl) and had 2 teams on probation in front of them. Nebraska was well represented but it's not a day trip for them.

Packing the house seems to require a Michigan or Ohio State in the game. Sparty travels well but just doesn't have as broad of a fan base.

Chicago would definitely have more local fans, but getting them to show up isn't guaranteed. And Soldier Field's natural grass condition is often criticized come December and beyond.

Sounds like Rutgers really. Although State definitely has a broader fanbase than we do. I recall our 2004 matchup with them quite well and there were a number of their fans here in Piscataway. Bowl games are generally very happy to invite us from a tickets sold, hotel rooms booked point of view which is mainly what they care about.
