Dabo mentioned when spring practice will start but I don't remember what he said. The spring game is April 12th at 3 PM and he wants it to be as close to a game type environment as possible.

Believe it or not, but "Spring" football practice has already begun for one ACC football team:

Can anyone explain why the Blue Devils are doing this so early?

If they go early they miss the ACC/NCAA tournament and don't have to compete against NC State's or UNC's spring game from a media coverage standpoint. They also get it in before exams before spring break. This is my guess.

Wrong. They saw Syracuse on their schedule, gave up, and are now trying to get the year over with as soon as possible. Frankly, I don't blame them.

Syracuse Spring Game is April 19.

UofL hasn't said anything official yet so the date could change. But as of now, all signs are pointing to our Spring Game being on April 11th.

For those of you ACCers who have never been to Louisville, that weekend should be pretty fun. Spring game on the 11th and Thunder over Louisville on the 12th.

Still need dates for: Boston College, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Ga Tech, Pittsburgh and Virginia

All spring practices are free and open to the public per the UofL football twitter. Spring game has been officially set for Friday, April 11th at 7:30 p.m.
