RE: RIP King Mabel aka Viscera
R.I.P. Viscera. I actually saw him at the Memphis Airport baggage claim! Obviously, a big guy who probably needed to shed some weight. Wrestlers don't seem to have a long lifespan (Curt Hennig, Davey Boy Smith, Rick Rude, one of the Moon Dogs who had a massive heart attack here in Memphis during a charity show) and even if they do live into their 70s, the wear and tear on their bodies leaves them pretty much in a scrap heap like Iron Sheik, , Superstar Billy Graham, Vern Gagne or not 'altogether there' like Tommy 'Wildfire' Rich. Say what you will about Jerry Lawler, Lawler is at least earning a solid paycheck without putting himself through all that wear and tear.
