RE: OT: What the Dying Know -for your consideration in the time you have left on earth
I want to congratulate you on your new business and I'm sure you'll do very well and good luck to you. Especially since your interests don't conflict with mine.

You see, you atheist's take part of a scripture and spin it to meet your needs. You are a non believer...right? you are attacking now in your post...right? Case closed. I am saying that ALL sin is wrong, and that agrees with what the Bible says. You should not judge thinking that you are righteous in doing so, because no one is. But it does tell you to judge right, and ask forgiveness of your own sin before pointing out another's. Forgiveness from God comes as a gift from Him thru the blood of Jesus Christ, and can't be earned in any way by "doing good". Good works come from the belief in Christ and your thanks for what he has done for you. Being gay is a sin, as is stealing, lying, killing, coveting, etc....We all need to be forgiven for our sins. By the way,The Lord tells us not to cast our pearls to swine also....
Nasty, I'll have to disagree with you on this one, but not by much. Being gay isn't a sin. Engaging in homosexual activities is what the Bible tells us is a sin. The celibate gay priest is no more or less of a sinner than a celibate straight priest. But neither have committed the crimes/sins of the straight priest who Sanduskys an altar boy. Having gay thoughts may be a sin, but the status of being gay is not. I know, probably overly technical and theological for a sports board, but I wanted to clarify that it is the sin we are to hate, not the sinner... I think that's where you were headed, but didn't quite get there.
Back to your regularly scheduled OT discussions, including his one on the thoughts of the terminally ill...

I would throw in that using Matthew 7 to criticizing "judging" is self-defeating. Those who do so are doing the very thing that they are telling others not to do (ie. the statement "You are wrong to judge" is itself a judgment.)

I'll get right on that. Like I already said, if you have an issue with moderation PM ME. Or do you have trouble reading?
