no medal for white....4th, and that final run score was generous....the Japanese guy got silver

I don't do women's sports but '80 will always be one of my favorite sports moments during my lifetime regardless just based on what we were being taught what communism 'is' and what you end up realizing the propaganda of 'was'...don't ever discount the Russians in hockey....I would love to see a 21st century rematch (remember that was the play-in to the gold, just so I'm no misunderstood)....think it was Finland we beat for the gold....but, that game just wasn't the same based on the time 'o day......

It's so funny how the politics and money of the world plays into the 'games' that used to be amateur....

Men's Curling finally get their first win, beating a solid Denmark side 9-5. Lol, Danishes...

Women's hockey plays the suburb up North at 7:30 AM on NBCSN. Not sure if the event is on primetime or not, so let's withhold on talking about the game until tomorrow evening.

Pretty nasty crash on women's downhill today. I thought she broke her neck as she went head first into the mesh at a weird angle. They actually had to shave part of the course down because of it as they were getting to much air going left with a right-hand turn at the bottom on slushy salted snow.
