Exclamation 2015 Football opener moved to Nashville
The Sept. 5, 2015 game against UT has been moved from Knoxville to Nashville. Closer road trip, playing at the Titan's NFL stadium.

I'm excited about not having to pee in the troughs at Neyland Stadium. They were like Depression-era bathtubs.

Good deal.
A whole lot better trip for the majority of us.

Best thing about playing there is that their seats are regulation sized, as opposed to those 100,000 skinny bench style seats in space better suited to 85K up in Kville.

I'll probably go now. I wouldn't if it were in Knoxville.

After all these years and all these meetings, Tennessee still doesn't have the balls to play UAB at Legion. Shame on them.

Looks like the Vandy fans should be the ones unhappy.

As long as it is not an 11:30am game I will be happy. Years ago I thought I was going to pass out due to the heat of the game. Even that OT game was miserable time (and not just the missed field goals)

I'm a Vandy fan, yet I have not attained that emotional state of which you speak over this matter.

It's not like I was going to drive from Atlanta to Murphreesboro to watch that game. If they had cross scheduled a home game ... especially vs. an SEC opponent I might be irritated.

There are probably a lot more MTSU fans that would rather watch UT than crossover Vandy fans.

I would be. Another in state school coming and playing a game in my city. UT will get a lot of recruits out of it and fans.

I doubt it. Do you really think that the fans and recruits in Knoxville are not well aware of UT?

Or put it this way... if 'bama played in Legion Field again, would it spike their fans and recruiting in Birmingham?

I mean, really...
