I've always been of the opinion
that one player couldn't beat you. After watching Bobby Portis last night, I'm not so sure anymore. He broke the Arkansas single game scoring record held by Scotty Thurman and only missed the national record of 38 points by three points. Shame he didn't come to UALR. Along with about a hundred other good local players through the years.

I'd rather have Ron Baker since he was within an eye-lash of coming here until Wichita State stepped in at the last moment.
What was more amazing, about last night's game, was at one point the players other than Portis were 1 for 25 from the field. Anderson is just lucky Portis is from Arkansas and always dreamt of being a hog. Never would have gotten him otherwise. I hadn't been all that impressed with him, up until last night. But I guess there is a reason he was a 5 star recruit.
