Baseball and Golf are about to get the spring season started!

We were misled by the title. We thought we were gonna open it and see you were retiring from Flash Fanatics.

Just kidding, Danny. I still love ya. =)

While I love to read about Golf, it not a great sport for those of us who need to experience sports from a loud, screaming, cheering, jumping, emotional level. It's a great sport for the school though. They won't let me back on the course, though.

And baseball is hard now, because they're still over a month from their first home game. I followed their February & March games last year, expecting a continuation of the World Series run, but they lost a bunch. Hopefully they do better down south this year.

I follow all KSU sports, & am excited to see:

a. how the baseball team responds under the new leadership.
b. if the golf team can make a serious run at a national championship.

I assumed this was a thread about a big time football recruit that fell through the cracks and made a last minute signing day decision to come to Kent. I excitedly clicked it needing a pick up having just watched Kent hand CMU their first conference W and the Cavs get beat by a bad Lakers team that literally could not field a 5 man team (although that was a must-lose game for the Cavs so that's a silver lining). So I was a tad depressed. However, I appreciate the humor of it.

I'm interested to see how the baseball team progresses. They lost their entire weekend rotation so it might be a work in process for first month or so. Right now their rotation sounded like Clark ( a former closer), Jensen Clegg ( very solid mid week starter last year) and a true freshmen (lauer).

This weather hasnt helped either.

I thought maybe the rest of the basketball season was cancelled......

Ouch. Arizona 13 KSU 1 in the season opener.

KSU gets their first win of the season beating Arizona 14-5!
