RE: La Tech's Recruiting Class
I think this is going to be a sneaky good recruiting class. I'm sure a few freshman will jump in and compete for and maybe even win starting jobs. Price Wilson is the one I'm most anxious to see in action. Peterson said he had a better arm than both Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwich did when they came to Marshall. I think he will be competing for the starting job if he shows up and puts in work this summer.

RE: La Tech's Recruiting Class
I want to see Kameron McKnight, the 6-2, 220 lb RB, play. He is the #31 ranked player in the state of Louisiana, and he chose LA Tech over Miami (FL), Southern Miss and ULL. I'm very glad we held onto him.

He's going to be a WR @ Tech

RE: La Tech's Recruiting Class
According to 247 we are ranked 3 in CUSA this year - we did a good job closing the last week and half with this class. Happy for now but time will tell how good it really is.

I would have loved to sign McKnight, but the Cajuns wanted him on defense and he wanted to play WR/RB so we moved on. Good get for Tech.

I'm sure that's available on the sunbelt board...but...4th in the belt, 104th overall

I forgot out those 2 - we will have a lot more speed and talent on the field next season. Hopefully the OL is better because we will be very good at RB

really well. All of our signees were personally evaluated at one of our Junior Camps and many were early offers. I am a old College ball coach who has evaluated miles of film and video and I really like the athleticism of this class. For what its worth, I have also seen video of every Tech, Tulane and ULM signee...yes I am retired and still keep a hand in it....I personally think that Tech did very well this year. Of course we will really start knowing what type of player was signed this coming August. Looking forward to our game this September at Cajun Field. Should be a huge crowd and electric atmosphere...
