RE: RPI based tourney Resume
We're getting pretty good at getting unranked teams ranked.

0-2 vs. Top 25
2-5 vs. Top 50

This year should be interesting during tourney selection time...

But we do have 5 more top 50 opportunities...

and 3 of those 5 are at home. Just winning out at home in reg season means 22 wins and 5 top 50 wins. I would think that we'd prob be no lower than a 6 seed.

We should also be able to sneak in at least 1 more during the AAC tournament.

I agree. The key is to get a top 3 seed in the AAC tourn. There's 5 good teams (although I still think SMU is sketchy) and 2 of them will play each other in the 1st round.

I posted on this a couple of weeks ago. SMU is not sketchy-they are pretty good. Have to avoid 4 or 5 seed. t have to play one of the top teams Thursday would be very difficult.

Playing at home that's true. They still haven't beaten a top team on the road. They have only 2 road wins, UCF and Houston.

I don't think they are going to need any big road wins to get in.

It would help their seed, but I don't think they will need it to get a bid.

They have a quality road and a quality home win. They have Larry Brown as a coach. The entire selection committee knows that he has turned that program around. They will easily get the nod over any other bubble team. They are on the serious upswing.

Getting 5 teams in as at-larges would be huge.

That will also make us 3-2 vs. the top 25

Cute.

We are also pretty good at winning most of our games.

But yes- like nearly every team, even really good teams, we have lost some games. Congratulations to Louisville for keeping us ranked.

Phail.

We've lost to 3 unranked teams.

None of them were ranked the following week.
