He made a living by extending plays and pulling throws out of his butt, but that won't work in the NFL. He's not big. The speed difference is enormous. Just look at what happened to RG3- he nearly had his career ended in Year 1 due to getting pounded to death. He's no longer able to outrun everyone.

If Manziel is out of the NFL it will be b/c of his attitude. He risks being a prima donna, and a problem to team chemistry. He could be the next Jeff George, although their playing styles are vastly different.

Anyway, your critique of Manziel doesn't hold up when you look at Russell Wilson. But, I do agree it will take a coach that is willing to work w/ his skills, rather than oppose them.

I'll take Mack over Clowney every day. Clowney may have the highest ceiling in the draft, but Mack isn't far behind and he's more likely to reach that ceiling.

One thing I heard about Clowney I think yesterday.

He has bone spurs in a foot (or feet).

I thought I heard before his bowl game that he was playing hurt this year.

I don't know if bone spurs is a precursor of chronic arthritic problems.
