JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Derek Wolfe and Rahim Moore, starters on the Denver defense who were hit with unusual medical issues that ended their seasons, were cleared to fly Thursday and joined the Broncos for the rest of Super Bowl week.
Moore has been out since having emergency surgery Nov. 18 because of lateral compartment syndrome, a circulatory condition in his lower left leg.
Wolfe has been out since his seizurelike incident Nov. 29 as the Broncos were busing to Denver International Airport for a game at Kansas City.
"Tell people I'm feeling better," Wolfe said. "And I feel terrible I'm not playing."
Both players are expected back at full strength next season.
Also arriving Thursday were other Broncos on injured reserve. The group included Von Miller, Ryan Clady, Kevin Vickerson and Chris Harris.
