He was lost the whole game. Don't know what was going on with him today. I spent much time wondering, why did he yank everyone else but him?03-pissed

Shaq has had a really good season, but he definitely had an off day today. I'm sure he would agree. We need him to be good for us to be good.

I haven't read thru everything, but why did Pellom not play? His style is perfect for a change of pace.

What about Kennedy going 10 for 10 from the field + 15 rebounds?

TBO that box score makes my head hurt. We were flat out beaten in almost all categories.

58 points in the second half on ...70%... shooting from SMU. 70%. SMU people. SMU. And they're not THAT good by a long shot.

I wish that were true. SMU has beaten 1 decent team at home other than Memphis. Even otherwise ... 70% ? Hardly.

Come on Shaq you are better than this!!!!!!

how does Joe out rebound him? Joe had 8 boards

JJ got a lot of long rebounds. Shaq refuses to put his body on someone and actually block out. He just wants to out jump everyone or slap the ball out the perimeter. He has to learn to find a body and stop just running to the rim.

RE: The key stat to me
Shaq is too terrified of getting fouls to box out or play straight up defense on his man. He does it when he gets a foul or two early, starts playing ole defense and won't challenge shots or go up hard for boards. It's a mental thing he has to lose, because he's not half the player he normally is when he plays that way. It'd be much better to have 15 minutes of him playing hard than 30 of him playing not to foul

Once today I remarked to my wife he looked like he was playing volleyball just going up and tipping the ball instead of getting it with both hands. They need a boot camp on fundamentals very quickly.

I think (I hope) you will find a different team at the Fed Ex Forum when you visit us. Your mustangs are good though. They can shoot the rock. Good luck against Cincy. They won't be clanging FT's off the front of the rim when you play them.
