Guess I'll not be using free wi-fi that much anymore.

Not that it really matters, since they can probably do this anyway without wi-fi. I imagine it just makes life easier doing it this way.

The problem with this premise is that the title doesn't tell the entire story. They aren't watching you type or recording your key strokes. They are recording numeric codes. It is done with computer programs looking for certain patterns or codes that terrorist use to communicate. It makes perfect sense this would be in place at an airport.

People get all worked up about their privacy and don't even understand what is going on.

That does make sense. Airports are terminals of transportation, obviously, so I would think they make good points to go after terrorists.

Good reason for the government to provide free wifi everywhere.
Better than free cheese. Would hate to break a tooth biting into a listening device.
