Tiger nation lost a great fan and friend
I just received word that Fred Lee Davis III passed away last night. He was a former professor of Economics at Shelby State. He also was a season ticket holder for football, men's and women's basketball, and I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he held season tickets for soccer as well. If memory serves me correctly, he was a member of the Highland Hundred club and the Rebounders club. He loved the Tigers and showed his support financially.
His son is already carrying on the legacy by having season tickets as well. But the news of his passing was sort of sudden. So please pray for the Davis family as they deal with this unexpected grief.

This is a strong family. They have certainty of Mr. Davis' salvation and they are taking comfort in that. They are relying upon God's strength currently, but the shock is still there right now. They will need our prayers I assure you as time passes.
