Tonight switched him in my mind from teams best player, to winner - creeping into the logan category, fantastic composure.

RE: SK
After a rough shooting stretch to start conference play, he has really started to find it, starting with him performance at home against Temple.

And if you factor in how much better Shaq is playing, and that we get Lawrence back soon which should give us some badly needed front court depth, things are looking very good.

Kilpatrick took over 13 seconds on one of his free throws, I timed him. I know they don't call the 10 second rule often, but he was abusing it.

Per whiner on Louisville Board.

13 seconds? I'm surprised Pitino was clocking him and grabbing the refs to complain. Lol.

RE: SK
SK does take a long time to shoot free throws.

But that is some next grade whining from Louisville fans.

Remember when he redshirted and a lot of people complained? Especially when he proved to be an efficient scorer his RS freshman year? I don't really remember who besides b, who loved to complain, if only to be a contrarian.

I'm really glad he redshirted.

I've noticed all year that SK takes a lot of time at the line. Hopefully if the refs start to count on him they give him the courtesy of knowing before the game they're going to be watching for it.

Same with Shaq.

Hopefully Moorman, too. Same deal as the year Lance was here. Same position, not enough minutes.

Hoping Moorman takes the same trajectory.

They had to redshirt him. Mick said SK had a terrible flaw in his shot that needed a year to correct. Plus, we Had Lance playing the same position. He wouldn't have played much.

The young guys esp Caupain, Kevin Johnson and Moorman - need to watch closely and learn how to close out games like SK. IMO SK is about as good as it gets in the last couple crunch time minutes.

Yeah, he is usually right around 9 seconds or so. I have never seen it called (Hopefully I don't either), but at times you can see the refs doing the hand count, but I think they go a little slow on free throws for everyone. It gets a little break for the players and the refs.

Only time I ever saw it called was on "The Big O" in NCAA's, may have cost us the game.

If we're honest, I bet that had a little more to do with other things than the actual amount of time he took.
