You can not be ahead of the last (non goalie) player when the pass is directed at you

So players cants poach goals left and right by just standing there while everyone else is on the other half.

It was the German "B" team effectively.

I wouldn't be suprised if both teams come in with little real effort as both teams advance with a draw, and Germany gets the better seed. Plus we have their former coach and soccer star. I would be a bit suprised as backwards as FIFA is sometimes if an arrangement wasn't made.
