Steve Spurrier was here on Hilton Head last week. He firmed up the commitment of a 5star Bluffton player and then came over to talk to Poona Ford. Be interesting to see which way Poona goes with Coach Strong at Texas and South Carolina making a late play for him.

We had 3 recruits get upped to 3*

I think he stays in state.

It would be nice, but it seems like he's a Texas lock to me.

Except for our top incoming DL recruit, who was 2nd in the state of NJ in sacks behind Michigan State commit Darius Slade. How he's a 2* and not even the highest 2*, I have no idea.

Texas is slow playing him. His offer isn't commitable there yet. I agree if they do legit offer him he goes there. Likes coach strong.

isn't ucf on sanctions can they even have that many commits

Guess the question for us would be could Nelson be moved to SDE where we have a bigger need. As I said unless we lose someone, which could always happen we have 5 slots left and are in the hunt for

Supposedly, Chris Nelson gained interest again in UCF after Sedrick King decommited.

Maybe one of our lighter DT's could swing DE? The lightest one is Joey Connors, and it looks like he could afford to lose a few.
