Could be the worst thing to happen given our game with SMU on Sat, but I'm sure they were already looking forward to giving us their best shot. In fact, that could have been what happened to them tonight. Hope we dont do the same on Wed night.

I don't think this is good for Memphis at all.

S.Florida did jump 17 RPI spots from 165 to 149 after the win

SMU dropped 8 spots from 42 to 50.

Having the potential for 2 additional top 50 RPI wins would seem to be more advantageous than USF being perhaps 10 RPI points higher, when the range that they land eventually will likely be low to the point of having zero consequence. Even with SMU still technically in the top 50, they will have to fight to keep that level, and may drop into the 51-75 range before the season ends if this kind of result happens again.

I was hoping SMU would win…. for us
