Have you tried WatchESPN on Roku since they added it in November? It is much better at adjusting streams to match bit rate speeds than other devices I've seen, including Apple TV and XBox.

It's not just ESPN. It's Disney in general. Disney does not need the cable companies anymore. They are almost ready to walk away and we will all follow them when they do. Just look at what Disney has been doing over the last few years. They have struck deal after deal with Netflix. Another rumored deal is in the works.(rumor) Netflix will have original Star Wars shows. Just like they do Marvel shows!

The problem with Watch ESPN is that you still need your ISP or cable company login.
