Happy that we got 9 wins so far this year after 5 the 2 previous years. Still a chance for 4-5 more too. I was expecting to see some improvement this year and some of that was based on Highsmith being on the court. Tired of bringing down the conference.

what's up with BG's assistant coach starting crap with players? He got javon T'd up in the first half and was running his mouth all game. Last year he did the same at Ohio and in the handshake line he got into a shoving match with an Ohio coach and Orr's son had to drag him to the locker room. This guy seems like a punk.

Just be thankful the refs called a BS late hit out of bounds on UB or Ohio would've been shut out in that game.

Anyways fouls per game ranking for Buffalo:

2013-14: 219th
2012-13: 260th
2011-12: 149th
2010-11: 200th
2009-10: 195th
2008-9: 167th
2007-8: 334th
2006-7: 309th
2005-6: 245th
2004-5: 312th
2003-4: 304th
2002-3: 321st
2001-2: 284th

It's clear the refs have it out for them.

Or they just lack discipline on defense? If anything i think those stats prove that, more than your idea the refs have it out for them.

Want less fouls? try sliding your feet instead of slapping with your hands on defense.

I edited it to add even more years.

When a team is near the bottom of the nation in fouls per game every single year for 10+ years it's a telling stat. Refs have their favorites and UB is not liked by MAC refs. We're an upstate NY team in a Midwestern based conference and this is what we get for it.

And how are you going to call someone out for complaining about the refs? I haven't found one MAC fanbase who doesn't (including you and your fellow OU fans). And I can assure you they don't get screwed anywhere near as much as UB does.

" We're an upstate NY team in a Midwestern based conference and this is what we get for it. "

Now it's a geographical issue for being screwed over by the MAC refs. 03-yawn
By the way, I really would not consider the city of Buffalo upstate NY. My daughter went to Paul Smiths College near Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks. Now that's upstate NY.

Dunno if anyone caught the Syracuse- Duke game, but the Syracuse board where the announcers sit said "NEW YORK's TEAM"

Curious what Buffalo fans think as UB is trying to rebrand themselves that way. Just curious.

He got T'd up because he was goaded into it by Stone. I don't blame Hurley for going after the guy. He's got no business talking to opposing players. Calling a double technical in that situation only hurts Buffalo.

You get goaded into something because you let yourself be goaded into it. How do you blame someone else for that?

Yes, Javon deserved the T for reacting to the taunt. It's the kind of thing that happens player to player and good players deal with it.

However, a coach goading a player is low class, and coaching staff should be held to a higher standard.

Oh, you'll never hear me argue against someone's statement that a BG coach is low class. Player still has no obligation to respond.
