The only real exception is if you want to trap out of the zone...which we didn't do much trapping.

If you exend the zone beyone 18-20 feet then you are losing the main advantage of the zone. There is a reason that you ofter hear the term "packing" into a zone.

Right now we are playing the ball 30' from the basket.

You might see the middle guy on a 3-2 or 1-2-2 zone pick up the opposing PG a little father out than normal, but you just simply don't play zone beyond 18-20 feet from the basket. Again, the one caveat is if you are wanting to trap out of the zone...which we really didn't do much of against Houston or USF.

I wouldn't mind seeing us trap with the "long" lineup in there.

Iverson's 1 minute against UConn was the last possession at the end of the 1st half at the top of the zone.

Nick left his man open in the corner on that play.

Olander ran to the foul line to set a screen on JJ and King inexplicably followed him. Boatright ran to the corner and was wide open. Olander wasn't even a threat to score; King could have just stood there and called out the screen and he would have been fine.
