How are some of the AAC schools factored into the 2014 CUSA classes?

Then I'd most like to hear how UTSA, ODU, and Charlotte have done recruiting under the CUSA banner?

ODU was a pretty strong 1aa team, has 1a opened more doors for you?

The coaches mention many factors but they don't bring up CUSA very much. ODU's fertile territory, other than Hampton Roads, has been New Jersey, NY and PA in this class.

It's possible that the recruits are being sold on the chance to play all of their games in either Va Beach/Norfolk or in the South.

The OP used Rivals, who has yet to move us over to the AAC. 24/7 has, ESPN still hasn't.

Two of our commits have been poached. One by TCU and the other by Fresno. What was once considered to be a pretty good class has been diluted. There are still 2 other commits that are looking at other schools. Damn poachers.

Just lost another commit to okie stae. We had 11 and we are now down to 8. May lose another to Fresno State.

ODU's recruiting has been really, really impressive.

Charlotte got a couple solid recruits...even flipping a WR that had committed to Kansas State. I don't know much about most of the players in our class though. It's too hard to follow football recruiting.

You'll get better at it. It's the only thing to carry me from January till spring ball.

Its kind of difficult to rate the teams when some teams have restrictions. Remember UTSA only graduated 8 seniors and only have 13 scholarships or so to give. The coaching staff is having to try and get kids to come on as preferred walk ons with a possible scholarship being offered next year

I noticed today in the Houston Chronicle that Rice has landed 5 of the state's top 100. We've got two big offensive linemen coming in. The entire class will likely be redshirted. The winning has helped tremendously. We still have a handful of scholarships to offer.
