Not a bad crowd. Surprising number in upper deck and students showed up and were loud.

We scrapped harder than they did and broke them in the second half. I don't know how it looked on TV but it was a very physical game.

10,200 and change

Student section looked awesome on tv

Good to hear - they were into it big time.

We tend to completely lock down on defense in the final 10 minutes. This team is rarely going to win by 30 just because we force teams to use a ton of clock working for shots. I am fine with that.

Very true. UCF came into this game as one of the faster paced teams in the league and they played to a relative crawl tonight with multiple shot clock violations.

It was a 62 possession game. We scored 1.11 points per possession. UCF scored 0.82 points per possession. +0.29 is a very strong performance. Maybe not on the level of Louisville so far this year (they are +0.26 including their loss at home to Memphis), but still very good.

Several times. No offense intended, but that was the worst FT shooting I have seen by a college team.

You guys are athletic, however. Quick on the perimeter of that zone.

I had heard rumors of how bad the free throw shooting was and how the Cats may really go hard after the ball since UCF could struggle to make FTs and likely wouldn't hurt us much. But that was crazy. Sykes looks like a heck of a player (And his last two free throws were pure, but the rest of them were an adventure).

You mean 35% from the line isn't considered good? 03-lmfao

I don't know but it's unreal. I mean we lost by 18 but left 11 points on the free throw line. We've done that many games this year.

Free throws and jump shot % killed you guys. You have some good athletes though. I was offline from Jan 1-4, so congrats on beating Baylor.
