What he did didn't make him a Thug. He was auditioning for Big Time Wrestling. He's not as good as "The Macho Man" yet, but he said he was.

Thug isn't the new N word. It was used unfairly in this case.

Calling someone a (insert word here) is referring to them as that type of person. Saying that the particular behavior was thug-like wouldn't have been as bad, IMO.

Violence goes deeper than words, sir. He may have hurt Crabtree's feelings and if he did, he was a violent thug for doing so. In fact, this is what I want to see from now on.

It doesn't matter what word would have been used, there's only so many words you can use to describe him screaming and jumping at the camera. Thug-like would have still been used as thug, and so forth. He honestly looked like a monkey hooping and hollering but we all know that would have been taken out of context, so there is a limited vocab in that area.

Why not simply say he was excited, ecstatic, emotional, happy?
