Having attended classes with UC athletes in the mid-90s and again in the last few years, trust me when I say the only difference is that they attend far more classes now than they did then.

I can speak to that as well, at least in terms of the semi-recent basketball and football players. I did gain an incredible amount of confidence in myself during study groups though.
