MT opens up as a 4.5 point dog at Tulsa. Starting guard Kerry Hammonds will not be making the trip due to an illness. This should be a close game especially with Hammonds out. However, I still see MT getting the win here.

You're right. I read it wrong. Fixed.

I think Tulsa is going to be tough to beat at home.

This road trip will be a tough one. It's always a dogfight at the Super Pit and Tulsa has played a really tough schedule thus far, looking good at home. If we can split, I'd be really happy. If we take both, I feel good about our chances at making a run for a top 4 seed.

Tulsa should and will win this game on their home court.

I saw our second leading scorer at "come out to meet the team" thing at our on campus fitness center. He was under the bright lights of the basketball courts so, I think we probably see him return from his concussion tonight.

Depends on which team shows up for MT, Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. If our good game shows up, we definitely have a good chance of winning this on the road. If we don't play well, then we have zero chance of getting a victory. Having kerry out definitely does not help our chances. he's probably our biggest/best 3 point threat.

I think you guys do have a chance to win. If we have 2 things happen it spells loss with a capital L for us... We need our outside shots to fall at least at about 30% and we need to shoot over 65% from the FT line. FT's had killed us early in the season. And the guy who is coming back gets to the line A LOT... he misses FT's A LOT too.... so it's a tossup.

Agree. I'm glad we had Tulsa at home and caught them without one of their better players.

Actually Tulsa's arena is called the Reynolds Center. UTEP has the Super Pit I believe. We are a different team at home, tough that is but anyone can beat us on the road. Should be a good game.

They are referring to North Texas with the super pit.

I would expect Tulsa to be the tougher of the 2 games. MT @ Tulsa should be a great game. I would not be surprised if that one goes down to the wire.

Not without our Kerry Hammonds, Jr in the lineup. He's out with the flu and he's really our main outside threat. I personally think we'll get hammered by Tulsa tonight. Hope I'm wrong.
