Looking great Houston... now you just need to start a marketing blitz and create some buzz in the city for your teams... basketball and football... FILL your buildings!

That looks pretty sharp. Wish we'd extend our damn suites and put in individual seats.

Another gem for the AAC. One thing that can't be argued is that this conference's facilities blow the other G5s out of the water.

No question the AAC with its current programs is a superb conference and incredibly hands down better then the rest... Challenge/Key however, keeping everyone together.

Oh and if we add anyone in the near future, they must bring something $$$ to the table... Just sy'n

That is going to be a really nice stadium. Plenty of leg room, wide concourse concession areas, view of downtown,
well done.

Looks awesome so far. I really hope I get to build a stadium one day.

Edit.... how close is this to campus housing?

There are brand new dorms about 100 yards behind the home side. Some of the oldest dorms on campus are right across the street from it on Cullen Blvd. as well.

RE: Houston Stadium video update
The discussion about the scoreboard is interesting.

The LED Video board will extend 4 feet onto each new outer "wing" they've added to the support structure.

This implies a video board 68 feet wide.

The renderings suggest the video board will be 45-50 feet tall.

In terms of square footage (over 3000), this will place the new UH video scoreboard among the Top 25-30 largest in the nation.

Really cool getting stuff like that for the fans!

In 2010 ECU had the 18th largest I believe. After the 2013 season, we've dropped to 40th.
