Do they teach math at MAC schools? UConn has only been at the FBS level for 13 years. Two or three down years will tank you ranking.

You all are making Sun Belt folk look like MIT grads!

and 2 or 3 years will raise your percentage. its all relative. but please, continue with your excuse about how UConn is really awesome.

So that means that UConn has sucked at multiple levels. The stats are based off their entire football history. Which if the first paragraph was read you would understand that or did you think that UConn somehow played 1021 games in 13 years? Damn the facts for getting in the way again!!

"I have a lot of big plans for these percentages. But, for right now, you'll have to settle for the list below. It includes the winning statistics for every team currently in Division I-A. This includes all the games played throughout their history."

UCONN football fans talking smack, now that is funny. Getting destroyed by Townson and Buffalo this past season, losing to WMU last yr who ended up near bottom of MAC, losing again to a mediocre WMU squad the yr prior, UCONN would not even be middle of the MAC in football.

Did I really just get mocked by a CMU fan? HAHA. CMU hasn't won ANYTHING EVER!!! Meanhwhile, UConn has three men's hoop titles in the last decade and change, 8 women's hoop titles in the same period, and a trip to the Fiesta Bowl.

"UCONN would not even be middle of the MAC in football". Wow. What an uninformed comment.... which leads me to believe that CMU would not even be middle of the road in academics. 03-nutkick

UConn has lost in successive years to WMU who has been near the bottom of the MAC in 12 & 13, so bad that their HC got fired after the 12 season and yet you still lost to them and you also got the 03-nutkick out of you by Towson. Yes your getting mocked on a MAC board because your football program sucks and blows at the same time. You wouldn't be in the middle of the MAC you'd be at the bottom with Akron & UMass, maybe. 03-lmfao

Ah, more ignorance form the "Big Least/Left-overs"

The "most recent" National Championship for a MAC school occurred only 4 years ago..."The Akron Zips men's soccer team won their first national championship in 2010."

nobody would touch a MAC team with a ten foot pole.
03-lmfao

Especially your football team as WMU ran all over them twice as did Towson. 03-lmfao

The A10 is better, has more teams ranked in the top 64 (RPI) 6 vs 5 and a lower conference RPI (88 vs 105) A10 is clearly better than the AAC05-stirthepot

The most popular sport world wide is not a real sport? When did that happen? Last time I checked North American football wasn't an Olympic sport. 'Murica!

It may be the most popular sport in the world

No maybe about it big leaster, No other sport comes close to Soccer (Football everywhere else but the US) worldwide. If you can't find MAC football nationally televised it must be because your rabbit eared antenna is not working. NIU played in the 13 Orange Bowl. Toledo's games Florida & Mizzou were nationally televised along with all bowl games.

How does it feel to be a G5 conference just like the rest of us, big leaster!

Haven't you realized yet your opinion of the MAC doesn't mean anything to anyone here? You are ignorant of the conference (and college sports in general as you don;t know basic facts about it time anytime again) and simply seem to want to parade your hostility and insecurity. Uninformed again, you were beat by WMU in condecutive years in which they were in the bottom end of the MAC.
CMU national championship 1975 d-2 or 1aa at the time, most mac titles since joining mac in 1975, top 25 finish 2009, bcs wins over michigan st (3), iowa. Not to mention our wrestling program has been an annual power house, gymnastics has had tremendous success in past, all with MAC money instead of the BCS cash cow UCONN receives, yeah we have done a heck of a lot more with so much less than many programs have.

Love how schools thump their chest about how great they are yet have all the money to enahnce their standing in the world of NCAA. MAC schools have accomplished quite a bit with such garbage revenue.

Dude, get a grip. In the 80's, UConn was a program with no major athletic budget. Jim Calhoun came along and created a winner. Hard work is what brought UConn success. The same hard work that made UConn one of the top 20 public universities in America.

Anyway, we had two bad years with Pasqualoni as our coach. When WMU was beating us, they were also beating the tar our of every MAC team as well!

Anyway, I have never even heard anything about CMU. Just another sad directional school with inferior academics. But at least you have gymnastics! 03-lmfao

CMU has won multiple conference titles in wrestling & football. They are what is known as a multiple threat, whereas your a one trick pony that used to be in a "big time" conference but your best days are behind you, now your just lonely pathetic & sad. Your a G5 just like the MAC, get used to it pretty boy

Sorry, but looking at what UConn did in FCS in 1942 hardly tells me about the state of the program now... which is still superior to most teams in the MAC (NIU and Ball State being the current exceptions in football).

In hoops, no MAC team can even sniff UConn's jock strap. 03-lmfao

UConn - 3 national titles in men's basketball
NIU - wrestling dudes proficient at rolling around with each other on a mat

ADVANTAGE - UCONN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are recovering from the Pasqualoni era (just like Louisville had to recover from the Kragthorpe era). We will be just fine with Bob Diaco this year.

Anyway, it is comical that Ohio fans are talking about football like they are Ohio State. Dude, Ohio barely cracked .500 in the MAC!!! 03-lmfao

Congratulations; you read U.S. News and World Report. At least in part; because they ranked Central Michigan among the nation's best in online education.

It is also obvious you have never set foot on campus or took a course from CMU. There are over 120,000 Central graduates who positively impact everything around them.

You may denigrate our sports programs, but when you dismiss the academics at CMU and other MAC schools, that's crossing a line. I suppose you really meant it as insult rather than attempting to state some sort of fact. If the latter, it calls into question the quality of education you personally achieved at a "Top 20" institution.

Hey, I started out nicely here. I even initially gave the MAC some props (go back a few pages).... then, every MAC fan started mocking UConn and the AAC. I am just sticking up for my conference and school. I would be a little less harsh on CMU and its academics if that CMU poster hadn't approached me like a complete d**chenozzle. 03-bored

Make no mistake, losing UL hurts...honestly, trading Tulane for Rutgers works for me.

UCF, Cincy, ECU, Houston all look like bowl teams next season...Tulane, SMU, and USF will challenge for bowls. (I still hold out hope for Memphis to get to 6-6)

AAC will have 6 bowls for 11 teams...we're no SEC, but it's better than CUSA.
