I have direct tv and my guide shows Sportscenter instead of the Houston game on ESPNews at that time instead of the game.

Say it isn't so!! What is going on?

Our game starts at 7 CT and 8 ET. The game is showing on my Uverse guide as on ESPNews at 8 p.m. ET on Uverse. I see Sportscenter listed at 7 p.m. Maybe your Direct TV guide is listed in Eastern Time, rather than Central. I don't have DTV, so I don't know how they do it.

Either that, or your guide hasn't been updated, but I guarantee that ESPNews has it scheduled for Thursday at 8 ET / 7 CT.

After calling DTV and sending an email to ESPN the guide was updated and I am a happy camper! Go Tigers!!

I saw on the Houston Game Notes, that Dave O'Brien & Doris Burke are calling the game.

What I don't get is, how is the game news? Why not just put it on ESPN3 and call it a day. Once the game is over and becomes news, they can put the replay on ESPNews if they so desire. lol

ESPNNews is one of 4 stations that they use for games. It's a step up from ESPN3. We are quite spoiled this year after having so many games on CSS and other stations last year.

ESPN News is a live TV station so ESPN has started utilizing it to show live games...it's a smart move and a lot of people have that ch.

ESPN3 is just an internet stream.

are you sure you are looking at 7PM CT and not 7PM ET ?
