GameWeek: Akron and Ohio
Akron will be on TWC SC network which, according to posters on the main board, has a footprint from Wisconsin to NYC, though, like the Swiss variety of cheese, there are holes.

Saturday, of course, will be on the "U".

I'm starting to wonder if we don't see Sims Wednesday, is it curtains for his career?

Based on the Sagarin ratings, we could be a 6 or 7 point fav vs. Akron while the Ohio game will be a pick em game.

RE: Sims - bad way to go out!

I'm wondering if Sims ends up with an EMU degree but ineligible for his final semester???

That would be rare - I doubt I've seen it before.

I'm still speculating that he didn't earn 12 credits first semester although I would have no knowledge of 'why not'. (Doesn't this happen sometimes in FB. I player is eligible during fall semester but is ruled ineligible for a bowl game presumably due to an academic issue from fall semester? i.e., he is ruled ineligible for the 2nd semester which would include the bowl game).

That is what happened in fact.

Wow. As a 5th year senior, he probably has been racking up the credits (24 per fall/spring semester to remain eligible + summer credits) and might still be on course to graduate even though he fell short of the 12 credit min. for 1st semester.

Not sure I've seen this before.

I really feel for him. He has gone through a lot with this team and this was to be a big year for the team of which he has been part the last 5 years.

Yes, and those bringing a spouse/significant other have that other person sit behind the north basket. 04-jawdrop

Tell the spouse/significant other, nothing personal, but we need coverage for television angles.... 03-lmfao

Seriously, the two areas which are panned most by the television cameras are the WEST side and the NORTH basket. Very little behind press row.
Some, but not a full head-on shot, of the student sections.

During the WMU game I saw some panorama shots which appeared to be from the upper deck/southeast corner.

I assume one of the cameras is in the upper level, southeast corner of the Convo.

Is that correct? Anyone know for sure where the cameras are?
