Prediction
Over the last season and a half, UH basketball is 27-3 against teams with losing records (but 4-17 against teams with wining records -- only 1 of those 4 wins came against an NCAA/NiT level club).

So I predict several more wins this year for UH vs UCF, USF, Temple and Rutgers*. We are 2-0 against that bunch, and might go 8-0. I figure 6-2 at worst.

Maybe throw in a home win against SMU or Memphis to go with the UConn win, and UH should finish 7-11 to 10-8 in league play.

* some of these schools like USF don't have losing records currently, but are projected to finish with a losing record.

Probably close. Unfortmunately, since Mack will do anything to prevent admitting his mistake, that record would probably buy a 2 year extension to the Dickey era. Everyone can expect at least 2 more years of the current attendance. The fans have checked out on this coach. Unless he wins an NCAA bid, I don't see him getting the fans back to the arena. Nobody is buying the laughably weak scheduling anymore. The talented kids on our roster deserve better.

RE: Prediction
I think we have a shot at Memphis at home because the players seem to be extra motivated for big names when they come to our gym. But I think Louisville is too strong for an upset, and I don't think the players will be as hyped for an unranked SMU team, regardless of how good they are, so I predict a big loss in that one.
