Today's new atheism is also a religion.

I changed that to "modern Christianity." Some forms of religion do scare me.
I'm Southern Baptist, have been since I can remember. My dad is a deacon, my mom a Sunday School teacher... They get mad at me for not going every Sunday, I go maybe once every two months but my faith hasn't been changed. It's been tested, but God won out, and always will. Having said that, there are also "religions" out there that I question, but none that scare me since I have full faith in mine.

Anti-christs is clearly not the correct term. That would be like calling adults the grinch during Christmas time simply because they no longer believe in Santa. Anti-theists is the best term for what you describe.
I agree Anti-theist is a good term for a general use against all religions. I also like Jugnaut's response of Misotheism. Now with this in mind, would you say the atheists who put up the anti-christmas billboard in NYC are falsely labeling themselves and are actually anti-theists or misotheists? Also, going deeper, since it was directed at Christianity what would be the specific term for someone who only hates Christianity? Would AntiChrists fit this context?
Misotheism is certainly not correct. It would truly be absurd to be an atheist and a misotheist. How can you hate that which you don't believe to exist?
As for the billboard story: I'm not entirely sure. Was the billboard hateful? Based on my limited knowledge of this story, these people are probably atheists who happen to be anti-theists. I don't pay attention to this sort of news.
The anti-christ is an actual Christian concept. An adversary to Jesus. So it obviously doesn't make sense to use that term. Someone who specifically hates Christianity could naturally be called an anti-Christian.

That is false. Religion is the institutioned concerned with the worship of God. Atheism is clearly not a religion. That is insane. There is no "new" atheism anyway.

That's good. I'm scared of stuff that could potentially harm me since I'm biological.

actually it is not. It meets the definition of religion. Religion must meet 3 requirements.
1. Faith
2. Following

It has 1/3. It has a following. Atheists and agnostics are non-religious by definition.

I'm sorry but that is incorrect. You would be correct if you were refering to true atheism.
I am referring to new atheism - which is a movement based in fear of mortality and accountability.

There are many things that aren't fitting their intended definition these days. Take a look at Westboro, there is absolutely nothing Baptist about that cult, and nothing remotely close to a church. They're merely a hate group.

Are you kidding me? Atheism's rise in popularity is based on fear of death? How? What about Christianity and the other religions? Which promise eternal life. You're getting silly now.
Accountability? lol?

actually, Westboro is a Marxist organization funded by the Tides foundation with the intention of aiding the new atheist movement.

Yes....and that is a main effect of people without a moral foundation.

Exactly, and they give Baptists and churches a bad name because they add it to their own name...

That's the intention. The worst thing people of faith can do is lash out at the WBC. That is what they want.

Explain how it is based on fear of mortality? That is the exact opposite! How is it not very clear logic to you that Christianity is the one based in fear of mortality?

Because true atheists don't need a God to not believe in..
The new atheist movement sees religion as a constant reminder of their lack of accountability.
