I want you to get up out of your chairs, and go to your window, open the window, stick your head out, and scream, "We're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it any longer!"

As long as the Big East is a BCS conference, the other BCS conferences won't turn their back on the BE. People forget that the NCAA has more than one sport. Basketball alone could keep the big East a major player in college athletics...not to mention WVU and UL are nationally respected this year. Pitt is a traditional power...

It's just way too early to talk about the big East becoming non-BCS.

I was in Vegas last week. I almost took the 100-1 odds on David Koresh U. winning the 2095 I-A National Playoff. Yes, the NCAA will institute a playoff for I-A in 2093, and DKU will win the 3rd edition of the playoffs.

P.S.- DKU was started in 2011 as a Texas juco for those top football players that didn't have the grades, were pro-polygamy, and felt that DK was the 2nd coming. In 2053 DKU became a 4 year university and continued to draw the top football crazies from Utah, Montana, and Wyoming. Their rising program joined the MWC in 2076, but this still did not allow the MWC to join the BCS. They should have listened to Yoda's great grandson, who had told the MWC fans on their board that adding DKU wouldn't gain them BCS access.

You don't understand economics...do you "seniro"? (Are you Italian?)

In order to expand...the new schools/markets have to provide enough $$$$ so that the existing 12 members will bring home more bacon.

When their piece of the pie gets SMALLER...or the chances of success getting smaller as well (14 teams plus vs just 12 teams in a Conf), AD's don't like losing more $$$$.

Plus...many schools already have stated they want to keep their 4 non-conf games (Big East has 5...probably too many) and don't want to add an extra regular season conf game like the Pac-10 just did (Pac-10 plays NINE Conf Games this year)...as the chances for a LOSS are probably much greating IN conference...vs games against many cupcakes in non-conf play.

The WAC tried it with 16 teams...it failed...CUSA tried it with tons of hoop schools in weird divisions (that didn't last), and even in the Big East...which a separate Hoop and Football Conference, obviously hasn't pleased the masses just yet.

Again...if you are willing to post your opinions/thoughts on a message board...just be prepared to see others do the same in kind.

About once a month I can come up with a good one.

Dang...I just didn't expect to make my August quota so soon. ;-)

Temple does not win its football games.Temple had a large donor purchasing 10000 tickets per home football game at $2 a piece to inflate its attendance.Temple did not financially support its program when was in the BE.It used its BE money to run its A10 programs.By the way no more 1AA by December 2006.

There is still a I-AA, it just has a different name. Everything else with I-AA is the same. Are you a nova fan?

Tiger shark- you got know crediablity. When you come up with facts & # why B-E should not expand, get back to me. Trashing every body & 2 yr old rants are not reason for no expansion.
