That's the thing with them, they can make their money regardless if they only play P5 teams. They also would no longer need to shell out 500k+ for a G5 to come to their stadium for those bodybag games. Ole Miss already has a series going with Texas also. Plus if you look at the history of when they play a G5 vs a P5 at home, the attendance is lower vs G5 teams. Don't be fooled.

I stopped reading after you mentioned ECU. You are now forever in my mind an idiot. They average 45-50k a game.

Like Idaho?

No delusions here.

Pitiful.

We have never been satisfied. We were with Henderson, Harding, and Southern Arkansas and not very good. But we left them behind. Were independent and not that great. Ended up in the Southland with McNeese, Lamar, UTA, etc. and ended up leaving them behind and moving to FBS. Spent our time in transition hell. It took decades but here we are. We're now to the point where we are winning bowl games at the highest level of the sport and making progress. We have never been much for knowing our place. We don't think we're done.

Boise doesn't appear to accept it's place as permanent either. It may take decades but it looks like maybe they want to get somewhere. Maybe that is part of Idaho's problem.

Boise's best days are behind them. Boise's success is what caused the P-5 to take action to prevent such uppityness in the future. Boise, like the rest of us, is screwed.

Uh, they average 45-50k AT HOME. How many of those fine travelers followed them down to New Orleans for their bowl game two years ago? No wonder you're red, you're not that bright.

Probably. However, I don't think Boise's success is what led to where we're at now with regard to the BCS schools wanting to change the game.

Instead, it's simply history repeating itself. Boise had its run and will now be relegated to lower-top 25 status at best. The Broncos program reminds me of Marshall, South Florida and other flash-in-the-pans who had the occasional good-to-great season and then found out it's difficult to sustain that sort of

But college football is an economic bubble, so eventually it's all going to come crashing down. Those who survive will be those who
A) have so much $$ they can withstand the fallout
B stayed outside the bubble and remained fiscally sane by not falling for the old 'we have to keep up with the joneses' bs

Unfortunately, my school fits in neither A nor B.

Saw the game, nah...they didn't. It was vastly ULL dominated just like it was this year. And that was my whole point, the guy said money will make them play G5 teams when they can make more money by playing a well known P5 instead. More tickets sold, more concessions sold, minus the guarantee.

LOL, oh and funny that Mr. My Program is going to take over the south Panama felt the need to negative rep me after the comment. I love how you've toned it down to humble pie status after your crony SaintDK10 disappeared.
