MAC Players That Should Get Drafted
Looks like there are quite a few that will be in All-Star games. I'm not super knowledgeable on the rest of the MAC's NFL prospects outside of NIU. But this is what I know.

Khalil Mack (Buffalo) Sure fire 1st rounder, probably top 10
Jimmie Ward (NIU) Sure fire pick, most people say 3rd round
Keith Wenning (Ball St) Looks like he will have a chance to be late rounder, probably UDFA
Jordan Lynch (NIU) Has a chance to get drafted just because dude can play, probably undrafted and moves positions, makes a roster
Willie Snead (Ball State) probably UDFA
Bernard Reedy (Toledo) probably UDFA
Rob Blanchflower (UMass) probably UDFA

Who are the guys I'm missing (obviously a few, this was just a short list)

I know from Buffalo Alex Neutz and Branden Oliver will both get looks.. I think Neutz might go in the later rounds 5-7 depending on what he show this week at his all-star game.

I think Travis Carrie (CB) for Ohio got an invite to the combine.

RE: MAC Players That Should Get Drafted
Toledo RB- David Fluellen
Toledo C- Zac Kerin

Reedy has little shot compared to these two.

RE: MAC Players That Should Get Drafted
I read Carrie was hurt and not participating at least in practice this week. (For the Shrine game that is)

From what I read, I saw Kerin is probably an UDFA guy, and haven't seen/actively looked on Fluellen since he's been banged up. I know RBs aren't getting drafted in the numbers they used to as many teams do a by committee run game now, but he certainly has a chance.

Kerin is rated 9/96 Centers, and 276 overall as a projection. He is 6'5, 308 with a 40 time of 5.21. He is in the East/West Shrine game.

Fluellen is rated 29/231 RB's because of his injury and will only move up as he gets healthy. He was invited and accepted the invite to the combine, and will play in the Senior Bowl. He is 6'0, 215, and runs a 4.62 forty yard dash. Listed as 387 overall.
-Besides Auburn's RB, no one did more damage to Mizzou than Flu who had 100 in the air and on the ground vs. the Tigers. That game film and the outcome of Mizzou's season will help Flu.

Dri Archer and Rosie Nix from Kent State will definitely sign somewhere if they aren't drafted.

Best chance from Akron would be CB Malachi Freeman.

lots of mac guys go undrafted and end up starting in the nfl. at one point last yr toledo had 11 or 12 players in the league and only a few of them were draft picks

Hoping Fluellen goes undrafted and then CHICAGO.

I think Pughsley may have the best chance, but it'll be as a guard. But I think regardless of whether he gets drafted or not, he'll make a roster as a developmental guard.

Both he and Freeman, though, have a shot at sticking at the next level.

Totally forgot about the Kent State guys, I'm an idiot.

I don't know Makachi Freeman's size, but I thought he was a pretty solid player.

Another NIU guys I'm interested to see how his pro day goes is Ken Bishop. He has the size and speed, but was a juco player and I think takes plays off. I know terry Bowden was high on him calling him the best player in the MAC, but there are some reservations on him.

Welll, from what I saw in the paper today Lynch didn't help himself in the all-star game he was in this weekend (was it the East-West Shrine Bowl maybe?). Anyway, he apparently started the game, was 2 of 7 passing for 3 yards and threw 2 INTs. The QB from EIU was the game MVP.

Zurlon Tipton for CMU has a shot, if his ankle has healed. What he did late in the season, allegedly with seven pins in his leg...01-ncaabbs Probably UDFA.
