Defensive intensity and the short bench
Do our guards not fear getting benched for playing slack defense because they know Pastner won't roll with more than 7 players, 3 of which are always guards? Are our guards getting tired from extended minutes so they can't hustle?

Or can they just not stay in front of their man? I really don't know.

When the intensity is flagging for us, I'd love to see Damien come in to mix things up, or Nick King, or Kuran, or Dom. Perhaps the bench could be a motivational tool

We'll never know unless we play them I guess.

I think you may be on to something here J. I have refrained from any criticism of Josh, but a couple more fouls and he would have to have brought in Wilson, King or KI. If he doesn't get them some playing time and they get into foul trouble again he can't expect anything like high level play from them. It was obvious Dixon had no legs on his jump shot in the second half. JJ seem to not mentally ready to deal with the speed of Uconn's guards.

Chris Crawford has the longest leash in recorded history.
