Quote:The U.S. Naval Academy, starting next season, will join Under Armour’s growing stable of collegiate athletic programs.

Navy announced Thursday it has signed a multiyear deal with the Baltimore-based sportswear manufacturer. Under Armour will replace Nike as the academy’s apparel company for varsity sports programs starting at the start of the 2014-2015 school year.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal will include marketing and promotional opportunities, according to a statement from Under Armour. All 33 men’s and women’s varsity athletic teams will wear uniforms manufactured by Under Armour.

Wow with ND and now navy, UA is making a major run collegiate apparel. Adidas might be getting edged out.

UA crushed both the Dow and S&P, up 80% on the year, compared with 25% and 30% respectively.
