Report from Detroit News Lions reporter Chris Mckosky says English is a candidate on Jim Caldwell's new staff with the Lions... Uh ok.

Also saw his name connected to Cal as DC.

RE: Ron English
I think he's capable of being a position coach. The Lions would be nice for him because he would not have to move. On the other hand, he's a DB coach and that is a position where the Lions need big improvement. Not sure about that one.

Coaching staff is looking like fire and brimstone, exactly what the lions need.

Agree 100%. The man gave his all and did some nice things. Some of his players, unfortunately did not show the same passion, so we move on...again.

RE: Ron English
I am not sure where he would fit. The most obvious place would be secondary coach, but former Vikings DC Alan Williams just accepted that spot.

RE: Ron English
Dear Friends,
Report in the Detroit News that Ron English is job searching at the Senior Bowl. One person he talked with was a former Michigan connection, now in the Canadian Football League.
